Baker County - Natural Resources Career Pathways Fair

  • Baker County Event Center 2600 East Street Baker City, OR, 97814 United States (map)

Interested in a career in natural resources, but don’t know where to start?

Join us for a career social with professionals from the natural resources sector. Talk with community members who work in forestry, fish & wildlife, rangeland, invasive plants, and more!

You’re invited to participate in the Natural Resource Career Pathways Fairs, designed to help community members and students explore how to enter careers in forestry, fire, wildlife, range, water, and related fields. This is not a job fair - it’s a pathways event focused on sharing experiences, demonstrating what careers in natural resources look like, and helping you to find your pathways into a natural resources career.

Attendees will:

  • Learn how to get a foot in the door,

  • Hear stories of peoples’ pathways,

  • Learn about different education opportunities in natural resources,

Bring your resume to get feedback and learn how to tailor your experience and skills to natural resource jobs.

This is an equal opportunity event and made possible, in part, through a grant from the USDA Forest Service. If you require accommodations or assistance to participate, please contact us in advance so we can support your attendance.
